The New Richard Mille RM21 Tourbillon
Richard Mille has introduced a new tourbillon model to its collection. The tourbillon model RM021 has employed the application of materials unique to watch making. It is the first watch created from an external structure of titanium aluminide orthorhombic alveolate and carbon nanofibers. The
orthorhombic titanium aluminide used in the honeycomb dial is a
material used by NASA in the manufacture of wings for supersonic
aircraft. Platinum and Titanium aluminide case is 48 mm long by 39.30 mm wide and just 13.84 mm thick. RM021
features a manual winding tourbillon with hours, minutes, power
reserve, torque indicator and selector function - And has a 70 hour
power reserve which is indicted by a display between 11 and 12 o'clock. The torque is indicated by a numerical scale located between 12 and 1 o'clock. The
Richard Mille RM21 Tourbillon is available in titanium or in either 18
carat red white gold on an alligator strap with matching buckle.
